Thompson M. Agbesi holds EMBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree from Mountcrest University College, Accra, and a Barrister at Law (BL) from Ghana Law School and a Member of the Ghana Bar Association.

He is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management from the College of Insurance and Risk Management, West African Insurance Institute, The Gambia.

He is an astute underwriter with over 20 years of experience in insurance who combines his work with sound underwriting principles and legal minds. He has attended several courses and seminars, served on several Insurance committees and headed several units rising through the ranks to become the Chief Manager in Charge of Technical Operations/Compliance.
