Nana Serwaa Abrahams is the Head of Underwriting & Global Business of Star Assurance Company Limited. She joined the company in 2007. Having worked for thirteen years in the insurance industry, Nana Serwaa has extensive experience in underwriting, reinsurance, claims, sales, and marketing.

She has considerable technical experience in both local and international aspects of insurance. Nana further has London market experience having worked with the Affinity and Reinsurance units of Lockton, a top-notch insurance brokerage firm in the UK.

Nana Serwaa is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. She holds an MSc. in Insurance and Risk Management from the Cass Business School, City University (London, UK). She is a product of the University of Ghana, having graduated with a degree in BSc Administration (Insurance Option). She is a member of the Education Committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana.
