Ann-Marian Owusu serves as the Head of Reinsurance at Star Assurance Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). A Chartered Insurance Practitioner, she brings comprehensive expertise across key facets of the insurance industry.

Since joining Star Assurance in 2009, Ann-Marian has held several strategic positions, beginning in the Corporate Relations Unit. Her career trajectory includes a four-year tenure in the Reinsurance Unit and eight years as Head of Corporate Relations. Her professional experience encompasses underwriting, marketing, reinsurance, and risk management.

She has represented Star Assurance at numerous local and international industry conferences, with a particular focus on underwriting and reinsurance. Ann-Marian is a results-oriented leader, deeply committed to professional excellence, mentorship, and the continuous development of talent within the industry.
